Who unfriended me on Facebook? How to tell who has deleted you as a friend

Being unfriended by a Facebook friend can make you feel confused, frustrated, or even angry, but there are several reasons why the unfriending may have happened, and three ways to confirm that's indeed what happened. Facebook posts have two primary settings: Public and Friends. Public posts, represented by a small globe icon, are posts that can be read by the poster's Facebook friends, followers, and anyone who happens across their Facebook profile page. Friends posts, which come with a small icon of two people, can only be read by those who are Facebook friends with the post creator. If you're only seeing Public Facebook posts from an individual, it could be a sign they've decided to unfriend you on FaceBook, but a mutual friend is sharing some of their Public posts for people to see. It's possible your Facebook friend simply likes sharing more of their posts with a wider audience via the Public setting, though, so this isn't always a confirmation they no longer want to be friends with you. A foolproof way to check if someone is still a Facebook friend is to see if they're on your Facebook friends list. To check your friend list, visit your profile page on the Facebook website or within the Facebook app.

Please refresh the page and retry. Well now you can be alerted when you someone has pressed the dreaded "unfriend" button.

Scanning and re-scanning your friends list will only get you so far. When you block someone, they lose the ability to start a Facebook chat with you. They may have instead left Facebook completely.
